Past Events
Diwali Dinner
Diwali Dinner was again a tremendous success with close to 700 guests. We would like to thank the many volunteers that helped, led by Lekha Lukha, Bella Karia, Radhika Bhayani and Prity Karia. We especially want to thank our two children’s dance coordinators, Lina Thakkrar & Rupal Sachdev. The feedback we received was largely positive and we look forward to building on this year's event. The highlight of the evening was the handing out of our first ever University Scholarship to Sahil Radia. The committee would also like to thank Yogi Chandarana for his generous graduate gifts, and Navin Majithia for his gifts for this years committee.
We look forward to building on this momentum as we continue to expanding our efforts to support post secondary education.
Navratri and Chopda Poojan
Our annual Navratri and Chopda Poojan events were again well attended and successful. In fact, attendance numbers exceeded expectations at both events and we look forward to seeing that trend continued next year. Many thanks to Lekha Lukha, Bella Karia, and Prity Karia for helping to organize these events this year, and thank you to all the other volunteers that helped out.
Adults Social Event
The young Adults Social Event was a great success. Thanks to all young Lohana's that came out!
Youth Laser Quest - March 29th, 2009
Hey,
This past weekend we held out annual Laser Quest event. It was a great success with amazing turnout. We played two games and then ate some pizza and snacks and had a blast! Thank you to all those who came out and made this event a success. Keep your eyes and ears open for our next event which should be around the end of May. If anyone has thoughts on what future events we should hold for you guys, the youth, feel free to email us at lcayouth@gmail.com.

Seniors Niagara Falls Casino & Wine Tour - September 18th, 2008
Another great sunny day and a busload of "young at heart" seniors made their way from Vishu and Ram Mandir's for a day the Magnotta Winery and Niagara Falls casino. Everyone had great day. We could not have asked for a better outing. Thanks to all who helped make this trip another great success.
